A variation you might like to try is to make a double strength batch using 2 tea bags per cup and then mixing with sparkling water, equal parts. Serve over ice or chilled. Directions Infusion Method: Teabags: Leaf & Flower: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 teabag. Allow to steep, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Press & remove teabag. Root, Bark, Berry & Seed: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 teabag. Allow to steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Press & remove teabag. Loose Herbs & Spices: Leaf & Flower: Place 1 teaspoon of herb or spice in a cup of boiling water. Allow to steep, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Strain. Decoction Method Loose Herbs & Spices: Root, Bark, Berry & Seed: Bring to a boil 1 teaspoon of herb or spice for each cup of water. Simmer, covered for 10-20 minutes. Strain. Sweeten as desired, with honey.
