The herb Terminalia Arjuna is a traditional Indian Ayurvedic plant well known for its use in support for the heart. Extensive phytochemical analysis shows that this plant contains Flavone arjnonlone, tannins, arjunic acid, and glycosides. The effects of glycosides, tannins and Flavones could be correlated to observed therapeutic benefit of Arjuna.
