Balinese Long Pepper
(Piper retrofractum) is wildcrafted in Bali, Indonesia. The pepper
consists of about 100 tiny berries merged into a single, rod-like
structure. This exotic pepper contains less essential oil than other
pepper species and is sweet and pungent. Balinese Long Pepper goes well
with cheese dishes or winesauces. It must be used with care unless you
like fiery food.
