Recommend: A truly satisfying cup of tea begins with the best water. Use freshly drawn, cold, filtered water, or spring water when available. Bring water to boil. Pour over one tea bag per cup, allowing 2 to 3 minutes for the flavor to unfold to its fullest. Traditionally, Ban-cha is enjoyed without embellishment. It can be served chilled, as the toasting of the leaves prevents the tea from becoming bitter.
