Colostrum Specific™ is enteric coated to protect immunoglobulins from gastric hydrolysis. Colostrum Specific™ contains a minimum of 35% immunoglobulins (lgGs), which is double the strength of typical colostrum products because it is from the first milking after calving.
Colostrum Specific™ is collected within 12 hours of calving from pasture-fed cows (during non-winter months) and is freeze-dried (lyophilization process under -40° celsius). This low temperature processing ensures that the different colostrum immunoglobulin fractions and growth factors (see right panel) retain their biological activity and are not denatured.
Colostrum Specific™ is free of antibiotics and hormones and is U.S.D.A. certified for colostrum import.
