General Information
The barley grass in Green Magma is grown in some of the world's most fertile soil on rolling hillsides in Japan and on the Oxnard Plain near the Pacific Ocean in California. It is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Barley grass is an exceptionally nutritious food, containing an abundance of phytochemicals including antioxidants known to protect the body from free-radical damage.

When mixed with a glass of juice or water, Green Magma offers a convenient chlorophyll-rich whole food with a natural balance of beta-carotene, proteins, minerals, amino acids, active enzymes, and vitamins C and E, B1, B2, B3 and B6, among others.

The mild alkalinity of Green Magma also helps to neutralize the acidity caused by eating meat and fatty foods.

Researchers at such leading universities as the University of California at Davis and George Washington University have found that barley grass juice contains the potent antioxidants superoxide dismutase, 2"-O-glycosylisovitexin (2"-O-GIV) and vitamin E succinate. Each of these important phytochemicals have been shown to help prevent lipid peroxidation caused by free-radicals.

Green Magma is also rich in chlorophyll which gives barley and many other vegetables their rich green color. Chlorophyll has been shown to have detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, deodorizing, and antibacterial benefits.

Many amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, and numerous enzymes are also found in Green Magma. Our entire manufacturing process, including our temperature-controlled, spray-dry technique, has been uniquely designed to keep the nutrients and enzymes active and intact. The barley grass juice powder is also protected from oxidation by the addition of maltodextrin, a complex carbohydrate that not only stabilizes Green Magma, but also adds nutritive value and, unlike simple sugar, does not affect blood-sugar levels.

Ingredients
Powdered juice from organically-grown* young barley grass, maltodextrin (a complex carbohydrate), brown rice.

* Certified organically grown and processed in accordance with the California Organic Foods Act of 1990.

Contains no added sugar, salt, colorings, or fillers. Free of animal products, gluten, soy, wheat and yeast.

Suggested Use
Dissolve 2 teaspoons into an 8 oz. glass of water or your favorite juice. Do not take with hot liquids since heat will neutralize active enzymes. Recommended once or twice daily on an empty stomach (20 minutes before a meal). Keep tightly closed after opening and store in a cool, dry place.
