NutriBiotic Buffered Hypo-Aller C delivers natural nutrients in
concentrations higher than can be found in food, while being hypo-allergenic
(free of all common food antigens). Our ascorbic acid is produced in a 15 step
process and has the highest solubility of all Pharmaceutical Grade vitamin C
Steps 1 thru 9 (Starch
Hydrolysis): Vegetable starch is broken down into simple sugar (D-Glucose) by
the action of heat and enzymes.
Step 10 (Hydrogenation):
D-Glucose is converted into D-Sorbitol.
Step 11 (Fermentation): D
Sorbitol is converted into L-Sorbose.
Step 12 (Acetonation):
L-Sorbose is combined with an acid at low temperatures.
Step 13 (Oxidation): The
product is then oxidized with a catalyst, acidified, washed and dried forming
Step 14 (Hydrolysis):
L-Gluconic Acid is treated with hydrochloric acid forming crude ascorbic acid.
(Recrystallization): The crude ascorbic acid is filtered, purified and milled
into a fine crystalline powder.
Hypo-Aller C mixes easily in water or any beverage. This potent, pure, and
100% natural, water-soluble nutrient is then combined with all-natural and
essential minerals calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc.
In addition to a near neutral pH and being well tolerated by the chemically
sensitive, Hypo-Aller-C delivers 350 mg of magnesium in a 1:1 ratio with
calcium, per serving. This significant level, along with 100 mg of potassium and
6 mg of zinc, as ascorbates, answers the increasingly recognized need for higher
levels of magnesium in supplemental form. Magnesium is crucial in over 325
biochemical reactions in the body. As magnesium plays a central role in cell
membrane potential, it is key in the uptake and release of hormones,
neurotransmitters, macro minerals (e.g. calcium), and electrolytes. Literally
hundreds of disorders are associated with sub-optimal tissue levels of vitamin C
In water or juice, the minerals and Vitamin C in Hypo-Aller-C
react to create natural carbonations (effervescence) and mineral ascorbates. In
ascorbate form, minerals buffer the acidity of vitamin C, while combining with
it to create a potent delivery system. The end result is a buffered vitamin C in
liquid form, providing easy-to-assimilate minerals, as ascorbates.
