What is flax seed oil and what are the benefits?
Flax Seed Oil is a natural oil (also known as Linseed Oil) which is highly
recommended for the general well being and whole body nutrition and is
considered to be nature's vegetarian, richest source of omega-3 fatty acids that
are required for the health of almost all body systems.
Flax Seed Oil contains omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins,
potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fiber, protein, and zinc.
Should you add flax seed oil to your daily supplements?
Some nutritionists, researchers, and scientists believe that it could be the
most important health-promoting supplement next to a multi-vitamin. Nearly every
system in the body can benefit from flax seed oil's natural properties,
including the cardiovascular system, immune system, circulatory system,
reproductive system, nervous system, as well as joints.
Unfortunately, our current diets do not come close to meeting our daily EFA
(essential fatty acids) needs. The richest sources of EFAs such as flax seeds,
cold-water fish, and soy and canola oils are rarely found in our regular meals.
In addition, more typical foods like red meats and egg yolks can actually
encourage the body's production of bad prostaglandins. Flax Seed oil can help
restore the body's natural balance of good and bad prostaglandins.
For optimum health, our bodies need a regular source of essential fatty acids,
EFA’S. Flax Seed Oil is rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Maxi Health makes this
nutrient pleasant to take in easy to swallow veggie capsules.
Among the myriad benefits of Flax seed oil are:
1. Increased consumption of Omega-3 may help reduce the levels of depression.
2. Alpha Linolenic Acid, a component of Flax Seed Oil is a most efficient fatty
acid in the prevention of stroke by helping to prevent abnormal blood clotting.
3. Omega 3’s are very active for skin health. Smoother, softer and a radiant
appearance with less signs of aging are among the benefits.
4. Genetically obese people who use E.F.A’S will have a safe weight deterrent.
5. Flax Seed Oil also contains Gamma Linolenic Acid, which is a blood pressure
lowering nutrient.
6. EFA consumption lowers risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 22%.
7. Omega 3 oils suppress inflammation in arthritis.
