Pycnogenol is a natural plant product made from the bark of the European coastal pine, pinus maritima. Pycnogenol is rich in proanthocyanidins, a special class or water-soluble bioflavonoids which are highly bioavailable. Pycnogenol is an antioxidant, 50 times more effective than Vitamin E and 20 times more than Vitamin C. It is one of the few antioxidants that readily crosses the "brain-blood-barrier". It is also one of the most powerful free radical scavengers, and it improves the bioavailability of Vitamin C.

Recommend:   1 to 4 tablets daily, or as recommended by your health care professional. To build reserves rapidly, start with 1 tablet per 25 pounds of body weight per day, for 7 to 10 days.
