Jarrow FORMULAS® Resveratrol 100™ contains 100 mgof resveratrols (3,4,5-trihydroxystilbenes) and resveratrolglucosides (piceids) extracted from Huzhang (“tiger cane”)root. Polygonum extracts have a history of usage in traditionaleastern medicine as cardiotonics.

As an antioxidant, resveratrol may protect cardiovascularfunction by inhibiting LDL oxidation, upregulating nitricoxide synthesis, and protecting the integrity of capillaries.*

Resveratrol has also been studied for its ability to activatePhase 2 detoxification enzymes, and to maintain healthycell replication.*
